The Michellin Guide has awarded Malaga Michelin Star Restaurants with 7 Michelin Stars in 2021, distributed among 5 prestigious restaurants on the Costa del Sol. This means that the province is not only a haven of sun and beach, but also that Malaga is still a place where you can eat better than well!
Marbella has been awarded 4 Michelin Stars, making it the town in Malaga where foodies will have the most options to enjoy the best of national gastronomy.
This award is given every year to restaurants that stand out for their good work and quality of their products, but also for the innovations and experiences they offer to their diners.
From traditional dishes, meats, seafood or any international food, these dishes will be a pleasure for the senses and a “different” cuisine that is worth trying.
It is located in one of the most emblematic towns in the province, Ronda. This restaurant has managed to be the centre of attention, thanks to the aim of its Chef Benito Gomez to ¨Plasmar the essence of the producers of the region through respect and authenticity¨.
As we can see on his website, Gómez designs dishes that are not what they seem and whose real meaning is discovered when you taste them, in the flavour.
The prices of the menus of this magnificent restaurant are between 85€ and 100€.
It is located in one of the most exclusive areas of Marbella, Elviria Hills. This restaurant received its first michellin star in 2005, and since then they have not stopped awarding it. Why? It is certainly not called El Lago by chance, because this restaurant offers spectacular views of a wonderful lake in the middle of nature, between the sea and the mountains.

This magnificent restaurant with more than a thousand square meters is located in the heart of the port of Malaga. Its Chef, Jose Carlos Garcia has invested his whole life in innovating his father’s cuisine to adapt it to his style and creativity.
His cuisine is based on the use of local products from the fish market. His recipes are based on traditional Andalusian cuisine, and as he says… A touch of Rock & Roll.

It is also worth mentioning that this is the only restaurant with a Michelin Star in Malaga city.
The price for its tasting menu is 110€ per person and we assure you that you will not go hungry. In this menu you will find 14 dishes with a great variety of fish and meat.

Marcos Granda has broken the mould and has shown us all that you don’t need to be a great Chef to be successful. His team has developed together with him a menu of seasonal Andalusian Haute Cuisine respecting the tradition of Andalusia, and of course with the same flavour of Andalusian homes.

Located in the centre of Marbella, it is characterised by its exquisite selection of fish and seafood for many of its dishes. Messina is undoubtedly a restaurant that stands out from the rest due to the refined technique of its dishes.
Its presentation is very elegant and avant-garde, and they choose the perfect fusion between land and sea to offer you the best flavour of their creations.
Messina offers 3 different menus, which include between 10 and 18 dishes. We would like to highlight the Iberian cassava bread roll, beetroot pickle with Moro shrimps, salmon roe with concentrated celery juice or the Iberian prey curry. They also have a menu with main courses and desserts.
